Nick Kyrgios Under The Bright Lights Of Armstrong Against Ferrer.

Nick Kyrgios was handed a tough opening round match at the US Open after qualifying and then being drawn against the world number 4 David Ferrer of Spain.

The Spaniard who reached the final of Roland Garros this year was too experienced for Nick, who as world junior number 1 really cemented his place as the best junior in the world by qualifying for the Men’s singles at the US Open. Nick came out and gave a great account of himself but unfortunately Ferrer, his movement, consistency and all round experience saw him over the line 7-5 6-3 6-3 in just under two hours.
